Cloudy but still not overcast condition.
It was 1 o’clock when I made this photo. The surrounding was actually brighter than the image. I tried to expose for the clouds, trying to get some detail and yet let other parts clip. The warm tone is most likely due to auto white balance of this film simulation setting.
On this second photo, the sky is definitely clipped. Pulling some details more will make the bench and tree more into silhouette. I felt it is better this way.
Time to go back. To end my photo walk for the day, I was able to pull some details here in the clouds and still having information from the bamboo at the right. I liked the faint sky here.
