Lines, Colors, and Patterns

It is my first for this year to contribute to Len’s Artist challenge. This week it is led by John and the topic is about the tools of photo composition — Lines, Colors, and Patterns.

So let me share something from what I have made recently.

Pathway
Shade

I realized that I got few photos utilizing leading lines. Perhaps I need to use it more.

Summer flowers
Sunset

I admit that I tend to compose when a scene has some quite contrasty colors. That is, aside from sunset which I can’t get enough playing around with its hues.

Balconies
Brick like
Tiled
Bamboo
Look up

Then I guess, for most, and quite evidently, I got easily attracted with patterns regardless if man-made or presented by nature.

Enjoy making photos!

    1. Thank you for your welcome back message, Tina! I really appreciate it. It was a struggle for me to have some consistency in blogging these past months. But I think I am making a good progress with my daily photos. Hope to contribute more to lens artist as well.
