7 Favorite Photos

For the last day of September and of this month’s Becky’s square challenge, I’ll share seven photos I made this month. I hope you’ll like them as I do.

Green Echinacea

I am always captivated by this flower especially when it’s green in color. As if trying to blend among the leaves yet failed by its unique appearance.

Indian fritillary

I have shared this photo as my first contribution to square challenge. Indeed, it is one of my favorite for this month.

Cedar’s Conifer

Usually, I see conifers already in the ground. This time, I noticed this cedar tree with a lot of them. I got excited like a kid as they look like eggs popping out of branches.

Resting Indian fritillary

With no flowers in sight, this butterfly was easy to spot on even though they tried to camouflage with the leaf.

Hestina

One of the most challenging photo we have made this month. I use the term “we” because my wife assisted me in tracking this tiny bug as it flitted around the lush cosmos field.

Asian swallowtail

This butterfly was spotted in the same field as the Hestina. I adore the vibrant flowers in this area, and it’s clear that the pollinators are quite fond of them too!

Sunset of Autumn Equinox

This year marks my seventh autumn equinox in a country with four distinct seasons. Having spent most of my life near the equator, experiencing the changing seasons is truly a remarkable event to appreciate.

That sums up my top 7 for this month. I hope to contribute more frequently in the upcoming square challenge.

Enjoy making photos!
