This is my first time to join a photography challenge, and I’ll try my best to be consistent. I think this will help me on my photographic journey and might as well as connect with people who is in the similar imagery passion. Anyway, let’s get this started. This week challenge is started by Leya and the theme is “work in progress”.
If you think about it, everything is a work in progress, isn’t it?
I can’t agree more. This made think that for any photo made, a set of motion have been captured. A motion that will progress to something. What that something will depends on the next photo or might be to viewer’s imagination.

I might do another part as a photo assignment.
Have a wonderful week ahead.
Welcome aboard, Dan! I look forward to seeing more of your images. My favorite of your choices is the abandoned village.

That photo of coffee brewing is wonderful. I’d heard of some villages in Japan being abandoned, but this is the first time I’ve seen a photo. Now that the population of the world is peaking it is not hard to see that in a hundred years there will be many such abandoned places.

Happy you like the coffee photo.
Regarding the abandoned village, it was my first time visiting one last year, actually its a cat island — Aoshima, Ehime. Felt a bit sad during the visit. I really do hope with the advancement of connectivity, people would start to live on rural villages again.

Hello Dan and welcome to the challenge! I really liked your idea that with increased connectivity people might start living remotely again. Very creative approach to the challenge, hope you’ll continue to join us.

Thanks for the welcome Tina. Perhaps it is a wishful thinking from me about remote living, yet I am quite hopeful for it to happen.
